The purpose of a poker database sample analysis is to find constructual leaks in the strategy of a player, who can then study, work and improve on these parts of their strategy. This is done in two phases. 1: Comparing the overall statistics in the sample against the overall statistics of the biggest winning players in the same database sample, player pool or poker format in general. 2: Testing the different lines of each hand or hand range for profitability.
